Delete your Brickchat account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the app or from this page.

In the app

  1. 1Open the Profile tab.
  2. 2Tap Account Settings.
  3. 3Tap Delete account, then confirm. This is permanent.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, enter your username and password on the page below to delete your account straight away. If you no longer know your password, the same page lets you send a deletion request: we check it comes from the account holder and delete the account, usually within a few days and never more than 30.

What is deleted

  • Your profile: username, display name, bio and photo.
  • Your phone number and the hashed copy used to let friends find you.
  • Your messages, private conversations, stories, replies and reactions.
  • Your friends, friend requests, blocks, reports, support requests, location history and contact-sync history.

What may be kept

  • Copies in encrypted backups expire within a short period.
  • We keep information longer only where the law requires it.
